Just 10 minutes from the campsite, you can take a boat from the port of Royan to the Cordouan lighthouse. <\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Cordouan lighthouse, a symbol of the Gironde and Charente-Maritime regions<\/h2>\n\n<p>For 4 centuries, the <strong>Cordouan lighthouse<\/strong> has graced the <a href=\"https:\/\/test-campingdes2plages.geek-tonic.dev\/activites-charente-maritime\/les-plus-belles-plages-de-charente-maritime\/\">beaches of Charente-Maritime<\/a>. <br\/>This <strong>architectural feat<\/strong>, built on the open sea at the entrance to the Gironde estuary, withstands the onslaught of the tumultuous Atlantic and Gironde rivers.<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Listed as a historic monument<\/strong> since 1862, this magnificent French landmark has been lighting up the coast of Gironde and Charente since 1611.<\/p>\n\n<p>The Cordouan lighthouse is unlike any other.
