The not-to-be-missed La Palmyre zoo<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Located near the Deux Plages campsite, the La Palmyre Zoo<\/a><\/strong> is one of Europe’s most renowned zoos<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Your children will be delighted to discover over 1,600 animals<\/strong> representing every continent… Asian elephants, polar bears, Bornean orangutans, Madagascar lemurs and Caribbean flamingos rub shoulders with Nepalese pandas and African zebras… and many more!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

La Palmyre zoo is just 10 minutes from the campsite. You can get there by car, or by taking the cycle path<\/strong> from Saint-Palais-sur-Mer town center, or the Royan – La Palmyre bus service. For all these reasons, Camping des 2 Plages is ideally located for visiting La Palmyre zoo. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

A must-do<\/strong> summer activity<\/strong>, amusement parks<\/strong> like Luna Park in La Palmyre<\/a> are a delight for children and adults alike. From the 4-star campsite, it takes just 20 minutes to get there for an evening ride<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Easily accessible, free parking is available on arrival. Most rides are available at a single price of \u20ac2.50. For thrill-seekers<\/strong>, there are no fewer than 5 extreme rides, as well as go-karting (each with a different price). <\/p>\n\n\n\n

On-site catering starts at 6.30pm. Snack Park<\/strong> offers a range of fast-food<\/strong> services, as does L\u00e9on Brasserie<\/strong>, which specializes<\/strong> in spit-roasted pork<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
