La Charente-Maritime c’est de nombreuses balades en famille, comme la visite du zoo de La Palmyre à 10 minutes du camping 4 étoiles, des balades dans les ruelles de La Rochelle à 1 heure du camping, des croisières en bateau autour du Fort Boyard à partir du port de La Tremblade ou de Fouras, faire des journées sur les plages de Meschers sur Gironde jusqu’à La Rochelle en passant par l’île d’Oléron.
Speaking of islands, you’ll love setting off from the 2 Plages campsite to discover the islands of the Charente-Maritime region, such as Ile d’Aix and Ile de Ré… Thanks to its privileged location in the heart of the Royannais region, you’ll be able to multiply your excursions by the ocean without ever tiring of the scenery. A word of advice: the best way to discover the region is by bike!
The campsite is located 600 m from the Velodyssé route, which runs from the south of France to the north. From the campsite in Saint-Palais-sur-Mer, you can take a stroll from Royan to Marennes-Oléron, where you’ll want to stop for oysters and a glass of Charente-Maritime pineau.
N’oublions pas Rochefort où vous pourrez découvrir la corderie royale et visiter l’Hermione. Sur la route du retour vers notre camping près de Royan, vous pourrez vous arrêtez arrêtez-vous visiter des chais de vin charentais comme les spécialités cognac ou pineau.
